11ed North Opening
The results are in from Friday's tournament in Haifa. A big congratulations to Leonid for coming out on top and to Dan for a really good showing. Just like we saw in Jerusalem, this was another great example of how quickly new players are finding their feet in the community. Pony only started playing a few months ago and has already managed to get himself onto the podium. Well done, Pony.
A big thanks also goes to Vlad for filling in at the last second, throwing together a GSC list and running them across the board. More importantly, he resisted the temptation to arrive carrying the Custodes grenade.

Well, what can we say? Jerusalem is already onto its second tournament in as many months, and it really feels like the 40K side of things is heating up in the Kapital. Yoel is another player who joined us through the Novice Play Days, and now he has already shown everyone who the big Warboss is. Well done, chief. Keeping it in the family, his son Ben made it onto the second step of the podium. We're not quite sure who is making who proud at this point, but I reckon they are both pretty happy. Matan is also one of the newer players in the community, but he threw himself straight into the deep end where all the sharks are and still managed to swim. A really great result for a first tournament.
