Podium

Another weekend 40K tournament hosted by our friendly local game store, we met up in Geek Shelter for a singles tournament. We had tables everywhere and dice were rolled in anger. Our podium was a tight held affair with Sagi taking the win after Andre and Kirill manged to only be split by SoS, Strength of Schedule. So it was super close. Even with that Kirill moved up nice and is now firmly in the top 5 just after Andre.

Rankings

Jeduah missed the podium with a closely run battle in the final game. A MVP has to Vadim who brought along the Golden Boys and had a great run, jumping up with his ELO as he took some names along the way. He managed to move a full 9 places up the rankings. We had a few new face with people coming from Beer Sheva and Haifa. The best thing was that we had people waiting in the wings to come in and play, we are in a really healthy place in Israel at the moment with players really choppping at the bit to play.

Battles

The cool thing was seeing some of the old faces returning to the fold. Alsways cool to see people coming back in after a bit of a hiatus and the crazyniess of the past few years here in Israel. Let's hope that the battles stay on the tabletop and we can get back to full steam with these awesome events.

Action

We even managed to keep things running more or less on time. These tournaments are always a bit crazy as we run to the final few dice and then have to setup the deployment for the next game. The energy was furious and seeing the focus was really cool as I was able to walk around afterwards.

Captain

After we cleaned up and managed to catch our breath you could see that it had been a long day. The concentration trying to run all those numbers and tactics were written into the faces of each and every opponent. As we went from the loot box up to the podium spots these wary faces were washed away with smiles and even a few hugs as we all took in the awesome day. Thanks again to Dima for hosting these and helping to continue to build the community here in Israel.
